Microsoft and Yahoo have ended years of back and forth negotiations and reached a deal for an Internet search engine partnership.
The agreement gives Microsoft access to the Internets second-largest search engine audience, adding a powerful tool to use in its online campaign to de-throne the kings of the search, Google.
“Yahoo is teaming with Microsoft following years of financial decay. In the process, Yahoo hopes to recover some of the money that was squandered in 2008 when it turned down a chance to sell the entire company to Microsoft for $47.5 billion.”
