Auctioning My Virginity: The Natalie Dylan Story

Tags: , ,

In case you haven’t heard one of the most intriguing stories from the net last year, Natalie Dylan is a 22 year old San Diego woman who is selling her virginity to the highest bidder online. She already has a degree in Women’s Studies and planned the virginity auction to raise enough funds for a masters course in Family and Marriage therapy.

“Miss Dylan’s offer first came to light in September, when the offers reached more than $350,000, but bids have now reached $5.6 million.”

How can this be legal? To commensurate the deal, Natalie is planning to meet the winner at the infamous Moonlite Bunny Ranch, a legal brothel in Nevada. , which is holding the auction.

She was inspired in the bizarre money-making scheme by her sister Avia, 23, who lived comfortably during her own degree course after working as a prostitute for just three weeks.

“I was quite shocked at the time when Avia told me she was prepared to sleep with people for money,” said Natalie.

“But Avia was determined to raise some money quickly and she researched it all and told me how it could be done safely through a legal brothel.

For all the nay-sayers, Natalie said that she is prepared to undergo a medical hymen examination to prove her virginity and has already passed two lie detector tests.

“My study is completely authentic in that I truly am auctioning my virginity,” Natalie said.

Being a girl rules, if I tried to auction off my twenty two year old virginity I would have been the newest internet sensation a’la lol catz or Rick Astley.

Police Sold my Stolen Stuff?

Tags: , ,

Is it just me or does something seem really wrong with this? Stolen goods recovered by police are being auctioned off by the officers at a site called Propertyroom.com. Supposedly, when items are found and no one claims these items, they become merchandise on a Website. However, I have questions… First, are there any attempts to notify the public that items have been recovered from a theft? Second, how are these items found? Was there a lead from folks reporting that their belongings have been stolen? Third, I just can’t imagine people NOT wanting to have their personal stuff back. Obviously, they don’t know about it. Fourth, is it really legal to sell this stuff? I mean, really? Items on the site include jewelry, watches, power boats, cars, electronics, and computers. Among the top three states to put items up for auction, Florida ranks as one of them. And the reason for selling off stolen merchandise is, according to police, “because there isn’t enough storage room.” Hmm…
