Bernard Madoff Arrives in Federal Prison - Game Over

Posted on 14 July 2009

In what is hopefully going to be the last post regarding this case, the disgraced financier Bernard Madoff arrived at federal prison today in Butner, North Carolina, where he will serve what is humanly possible of his 150 year sentence.

“Federal Bureau of Prisons spokeswoman Linda Thomas says Madoff arrived at the Butner facility Tuesday morning, after a brief stay at an Atlanta prison while in transit from a federal jail in New York City.”

“Madoff has a projected release date of November 14, 2139, assuming he gets early release credit for good behavior while in prison.”

He is now listed in the Bureau of Prisons records as prisoner number 61727-054.

Tough way to go out, especially when you already had everything you could ever dream of.

Now that he is in prison do you think this guy will just disappear now? Or, is he going to be like Mike and be in the headlines for another month… I’m tired of the so-called “news” people report on.

Hopefully this teaches a lesson to all of the white collar criminals out there. You cheat people out of their money, you will get caught, and you will go to prison.

    Game Over.
