Update:
Yesterday I reported on Hal Turner, the white supremacist internet radio host and blogger that threatened to kill three federal judges.
Today, the story is updated as the hate monger was denied bail, and told that he was going to have to face the music.
“U.S. Magistrate Michael Shipp ordered Harold “Hal” Turner transferred to Illinois to face the charge, which carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.”
The 47 year old threatened three Federal appellate Judges who refused to overturn a ban on handguns.
“These judges deserve to be killed,” Turner wrote on his blog… He also provided a map showing the Chicago courthouse where the judges are based and said a map showing their homes would be added.
That is pretty extreme.
“Attorneys on both sides had reached a tentative agreement Thursday that would have allowed Turner to be released on $200,000 bail, confined to his northern New Jersey home and prohibited from using the Internet by monitoring software.”
“But Shipp expressed reservations with the bail package, under which Turner’s mother would guarantee his bail using a house she owns in Pennsylvania. Shipp also noted that federal agents had discovered three pistols, a shotgun and several hundred rounds of ammunition at his apartment on Wednesday.”
“I’m concerned about the danger to the community,” Shipp said before ruling.
Better safe than sorry. Between this completely outrageous and irresponsible episode and his normal message and hate, I think it is a good idea to keep this guy under watch.

Bernie Madoff destroyed countless lives and remained in his suite without having to sit in jail under bond.
Hal Turner is a loudmouth. He did not actually tell anyone to hurt anyone else. Close, but not quite.The accused was exercising his right to free speech. Hair splitting at its best results in bond denial, it appears.

This verbal vomit that this knumbskull emits from his fat mouth? This guy is a bigger loudmouth than rush (i left his name lowercase on purpose) with less of an audience.
I’m sick of seeing this guy in the news around here. Enough is enough. I’m glad he’s in jail…. Hopefully when he gets out he’ll do something again so he can get locked up longer.

I agree with him, someone has to speak the truth, its crap that hes in jail and facing 10 years, especially when real killers get shorter sentences and so dont child molestars. This country has lost sight in what america stands for. Freedom of speech is no more. Whats next?

I am all for freedom of speech, but not when it looks to degrade and vilify a person or group of people. I have read your friends blog and listened to his internet radio show, and it’s crap.
Is ten years too long? Maybe, but seeds of hate will continue to sow the next generation’s ideas, and can possibly hurt someone in the future. It is not acceptable.
I personally have no respect for the man or his ideas.
