Law School Cuts, Cuts, and More Cuts

Cuts, cuts and more cuts are happening in all corners, affecting every area of our lives. Law students are included in this slashing season as Deans and fundraising administrators nationwide are stating that donors of large gifts are no longer committing to giving generous contributions. School’s alumni are also pinching pennies and according to National Law Journal, “a few donors to some of the nation’s law schools have backed out of pledged gifts, but several more who previously were considering giving large amounts are now taking a ‘wait and see’ approach.
This isn’t good for students and professors. As times get tough, people need financial assistance with education and a steady paycheck more than ever. However, unfortunately, when it doesn’t rain money, problems begin to pour.
